We're Bob Sitko and Doug Leonhardt, of Columbia, SC, who have been using the Wang for about 14 years. We have a few customers left who don't wish to convert to PCs; our largest is a manufacturer for whom we do all accounting, invoicing, production control, etc. We installed a Wang at their shop with terminals for office and factory staff to use, and we collect their daily transactions and process them here in SC, then overnight send their updated files and reports back to them.
We use PL/1 exclusively (no Cobol or RPG), and on our web site (www.solar-systems.cc) we call ourselves the "World's largest" producers of PL/1 applications for the Wang. At last count, we have over 1,000 application programs written in PL/1, so I think we qualify.
