I had already composed a reply at length to your message when power went off here for about a minute. ARGHHHH!

The bottom line is this: There is no longer any good reaaon NOT to buy SCSI disk drives directly from Wang. Monthly maintenance for drives sold and installed by Wang is *zero*. My advice is to put your system under Wang maintenance, have them put in the 2, 4, or 9gb drive(s) you want, and upgrade your OS in the bargain. OS upgrades are bundled in software maintenance. SAM and EVAS are now bundled in the OS for maintenance customers. It's pretty much of a no-brainer.
